The Muddy Lane Inquiry will reconvene for the third and, hopefully, final time on Tuesday 19th March at 09.30 at the Council Offices in Woking. It is open to the public and the RA will be sending representatives.

On 21st December 2017 Prime Finance (West Byfleet) SarL, (the land owner) received outline planning consent to demolish all of the existing buildings and construct up to 255 apartments above new ground floor retail space, with underground car parking.
The Annual General Meeting of Byfleet, West Byfleet & Pyrford Residents’ Association will be held at 19:30 on Thursday, 14 March 2019 in the Good Shepherd Hall, Church of the Good Shepherd, Pyrford.
The public inquiry regarding Muddy Lane will recommence at the the Council Chamber, Woking Borough Council, Civic Offices, Gloucester Square, Woking, Surrey, GU21 6YL on 6 February 2019 at 10.00am. It will carry over to the 7th if need be.

Surrey County Council (SCC) have received an application to extend the Waste Transfer Site in Wintersells Road whose sole access is Oyster Lane.
Whilst the application site sits within the administrative jurisdiction of Elmbridge Borough Council, because the application is for waste-related development SCC are the planning authority dealing with, and will subsequently determine, the application.
This matter is now out for public consultation until 4th February 2019.
Whilst your Committee welcomes the full commercial and industrial use of the Wintersells Estate, any increase in traffic movement on the already inadequate Oyster Lane and Parvis Road makes this proposal unacceptable until the infrastructure is improved. The Planning Application quotes 200 skip lorry movements per day. This is a very significant increase over the existing level.
