Why is it so important to have a network of Street Reps?
The Residents’ Association relies heavily on the network of Street Reps to be the eyes and ears of their street and to be the voice of their neighbourhood. The Street Reps are vital for delivering The Resident magazine in a correct and timely manner which means that membership subscription can be kept to a minimum and there are few delivery costs.
What does it mean to be a Street Rep?
You will be asked to look after the members in your street or neighbourhhood, to engage with the current members and encourage new members where possible.
The Resident Delivery
You’ll deliver the Association’s newsletter to your members three times per year and collect subscriptions once a year – using reply envelopes if preferred. The Residents’ Association organises a drop-in session when the magazine is published where you can come along for refreshments and to meet the Committee and other Street Reps.
You can collect magazines then or they’ll be delivered later if you prefer – your choice.
Currently our most urgent need for Street Reps is in:
Byfleet: The High Road, Royston Road, The Manor Estate – various roads and Viscount Gardens area.
West Byfleet: Birchwood Road, Dartnell Avenue (part), Claremont Road, and Old Woking Road in West Byfleet Centre.
Pyrford: Lincoln Drive, Weston Way, Abbey Close, Lovelace Drive and Hayes Barton.
