Warm Welcome Venues

These are run by Surrey County Council and are places where residents can drop in, get warm, and meet others. There is free energy advice available too.

Warm Welcome Venues in Woking


Christ Church Woking

Address: The Lounge, The Maybury Centre, Boardschool Road, Woking, GU21 5HD

Services offered: Hot drinks; Meals; Social activities; food bank, food club and community fridge

Accessibility: Accessible.


Maybury and Sheerwater Community Trust (MASCOT)

Address: Mascot Hub, 43 Dartmouth Avenue, Sheerwater, Woking, Surrey, GU21 5PE

Services offered: Hot drinks; food bank, food club and community fridge. Computer, internet emergency phone use and form filling;

Accessibility: The hub is accessible for wheelchair users but the loos are too small to enter with a wheelchair.


New Life Church Woking

Address: High Street, Old Woking, GU22 9BX

Services offered: Hot drinks and meals

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and toilet.


St Andrew’s Church

Address: Goldsworth Park Centre, Denton Way, Goldsworth Park, Woking, GU21 3LG

Services offered: Hot drinks and social activities

Accessibility: Automatic doors and disabled toilets. Community cafe space located on the ground floor of the building, with a lift should access to the first floor be required for other activities.


The Lighthouse

Address: The Lighthouse, 8 to 10 High Street, Woking GU21 6BG

Services offered: hot drinks; meals; social activities; craft activities; food bank, food club and community fridge

Accessibility: Ground floor access.


Welcome Church Cafe

Address: 1 to 5 Church Street West, Woking, GU21 6DJ

Services offered: Hot drinks; meals; social activities; Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Courses Job Club, Money Course, Skills Course. Also Fresh Start and Kintsugi Hope.

Accessibility: Fully accessible
