We have been members of the London Bus Museum/Brooklands for many years but now relinquishing as for the past 3 years and continuing ad infinitum the closures on the A3 have always coincided with events at the museum. We did try and go once but a journey of 90 minutes each way turning into 4 hours each way is no joke for a pair of 80 year olds. Hence we have not been able to attend. In Spain or France (or anywhere else probably) these ‘modifications’ would have taken less than 3 or 4 months – maybe even less. Here in the UK – 4 years and counting – supposed finish now back to ‘Spring 2026’ – more likely Autumn 2030! Ridiculous.!
