The RA Environment initiative is a collaboration of local charities, organisations and businesses passionate about enhancing biodiversity and boosting sustainable living in the three villages as well as the surrounding areas. Some of the charities are Woking Environment Action, Byfleet United Charities, Wey River Trust, Rotary Club and others. The project is coordinated by Byfleet author Hansa Pankhania and environment enthusiast Sue Clements.
