Surrey County Council and Woking Borough Council will commence essential highway improvement works to Woking Town Centre on Monday 30 January 2017. This multi-million pound highway enhancement project will, when completed, significantly improve traffic flow in the area and make it safer for pedestrians and cyclists, whilst stimulating economic growth in Woking Town Centre.
Woking Borough Council would like to seek your views in respect of the possibility of substituting the safeguarded sites in the draft Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD), which was published in 2015, with a site on land east of Martyrs Lane. This is to meet future development needs of the Borough between 2027 and 2040.

Highways England will be holding a public consultation about the M25 junction 10/A3 Wisley interchange improvement scheme from 5 December 2016 until 6th February 2017.
All responses to the public consultation will be recorded in a consultation report and will be considered as part of the option selection process. The closing date for responses is 11.59pm on 6th February 2017.
