Residents’ Association and COVID-19 Emergency

18th March 2020 Leave a Comment Filed Under: News

Dear Street Representative,

We are indeed fortunate to have so many caring good neighbours who have volunteered to get groceries and medicines, keep contact and help in other ways.

We will not be keeping a Village-wide register of these good neighbours for both administrative and data protection reasons, but we would hope that each of you will either know who the good neighbours are in your ‘walks’ or help to set up such support.

The Residents’ Association is providing a contact email address for each Village to the West Byfleet Health Centre practices for them to text this to their vulnerable and at risk patients, so any who have not yet established a relationship with a good neighbour can be put in contact.

If we are advised of any vulnerable or at risk people on your ‘walk’, can you check that they are, or put them, in contact with a good neighbour?

Please remember to check The Residents website for links to support organisations.
