More than 50 volunteers have been delivering a Crime Alert leaflet throughout Byfleet village recently.
The leaflet was to make all residents aware of the recent rise in crime in the village, and to give them advice on how to keep safe. It was also circulated to promote the Neighbourhood Watch scheme which is going through a revival and could help to reduce crime in the future. Obviously, the tips mentioned in the leaflet apply to all villages within the area.
