At the recent West Byfleet Live event Marstons, the well known pub chain, had a tent at which they were showing plans for a development on the West Byfleet Recreation Ground. The plans were for a pub/restaurant located on Parvis Road next to St. John’s church, with vehicle access from Camphill Road next to the bowling club. The proposal included Marstons providing funds for a replacement sports and community building, with parking between the bowling green and the playground. A pamphlet was made available.
